Pottery Painting is fantastic for Special Needs Groups

Everyone, whatever their ability, spends time drawing or painting on paper but paper is eventually thrown away.  At ArtyCraftyParty we believe that it is fun to have a long lasting artistic memory to treasure.  We therefore propose that rather than always using paper students could paint onto ceramic, for example a plate, mug or tile. This can then be glazed and fired and kept, used or given as a present and it lasts forever.

Our new activity of Foam Clay would also be a great medium for special needs.  With the non mess clay and amazingly bright colours it appeals to everyone.
